AGREEMENT FOR FACE PAINTING SERVICES

A signed Agreement and the established deposit are required to secure the booking date. Verbally booked dates will be held for seven (7) days. If the deposit and/or the signed agreement alone (if no deposit is required), are not received within seven (7) days, the agreement is null and void, and the dates will be made available to other clients. The deposit is non-refundable, should the client cancel or postpone the event. In the case of postponement MY MAKEUPARTY will work with you to accommodate an alternate date; however, due to other bookings and commitments, availability may be limited.

 

Make all checks payable to MY MAKEUPARTY. DO NOT MAIL cash.   Please include the date of event, times and your name with the check, so it can be matched to your booking. Cash deposits are acceptable. 

 

Limitations:Artist(s) will not paint any part of body that is illegal to expose in public, or any place they do not feel comfortable painting. Artist(s) will not paint any design or wording that is obscene, offensive, or defies good taste, in the Artist’s opinion. For sanitary reasons, the Artist(s) will not paint anyone who appears to be sick or suffering from cold sores, conjunctivitis, or any infectious skin condition or open wounds.  Artist will use reasonable care, but is not responsible for damage to clothing or property.

 

Client agrees that MY MAKEUPARTY’s total liability, even for erroneous product content that causes damage to the client or guests of the client’s event shall be limited to the purchase price paid for the event. Client agrees MY MAKEUPARTY’s total liability, for any other injury, harm, or tort of any kind, whether foreseeable or unforeseeable, shall be limited to the purchase price paid for the event.

MY MAKEUPARTY takes many precautions to assure a safe and sanitary event. The brand paint we use manufactures its products using FDA compliant materials, packaging and processes that would provide FDA compliance (and their international counterparts). Our cosmetic brushes and supplies are constantly disinfected to assure the highest level of sanitation. Our cosmetic paints also contain a natural anti-bacterial agent.

Client agrees that MY MAKEUPARTY may publish for commercial purposes the full or partial content of any event and all communication with client at MY MAKEUPARTY’s sole discretion. Children under the age of two (2) years will not be painted. Individuals who are unwilling or unable to tell the Artist(s) themselves that they want to be painted will not be painted. The Artist(s) will stop painting immediately, if anyone being painted is in distress or changes their mind after the painting has started. The Artist(s) reserve the right to refuse to paint individuals who are exhibiting inappropriate or offensive behavior, in the Artist’s opinion.

 

MY MAKEUPARTY agrees to provide the services stipulated using only professional theatrical cosmetic grade approved products on the booked date(s) with the acceptance of a deposit and/or signed agreement. Public liability insurance is carried and a current insurance certificate can be provided upon request. If, for any reason, YAHEL RUBIN or a designated alternate artist should be unable to accommodate your confirmed booking, your deposit will be returned to you in full.

 


Client agrees to pay the full amount owing, immediately upon completion of the booked services. The client will be responsible for any fees or expenses, including legal fees, incurred in connection with collecting delinquent amounts owed to
MY MAKEUPARTY under this Agreement.
